About The Artist
Growing up on Saturday morning cartoons and exploring online art forums, Emma's love for odd, animated art started at a young age. In high school, she came to the realization her passion for animation could be translated into a job. Taking her sketchbooks full of doodles, she taught herself digital art and animation. In response to her passion, Emma's art high school teachers started digital art and animation classes to open doors to students interested in the same.
Since attending Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Emma's furthered her skills in character design, traditional 2D animation, 2D puppet animation, composting, 3D modeling and storyboarding.
During her time at SCAD, Emma has also partaken in collaborative projects alongside peers. She's helped in two senior capstone films during her sophomore and junior year. Finding joy in formulating ideas with others, Emma thrives for the collaborative process.
When not occupied with art projects, Emma likes collecting Cd's, baking sweet goods, playing video games, exploring niche aesthetics, going down internet rabbit holes and going on walks with her dog.
